이문장인데요
여기서 across 이부분이 걸리네요 이문장을 봤을때 저는
After the discussions / participants rated / themselves and the person /they had chatted with/ across several personality traits.
across가 걸려서 이렇게 되서 across 의미에 ~에대해서라는 무슨 의미가 있는줄 알았는데 그런건없고
맞은편에 이런뜻이 있더라구요 그래서
바뀌기전에 원래문장이 they had chatted with across the person 이런 문장인가요??
그런데 사전에 찾아봤는데 chat 뒤에 이런구조가 없는것 같던데 잘 모르겠어요
저렇게되면
rate 목 목 이렇게되는데 이런 문장구조도 없구요
영어 이제 시작하고있는데 벌써부터 어렵네요 도와주세요

They had chatted with 이 the person 을 수식하고, 문장의 뜻은 참가자들이 몇가지 인격적 특성에 대해서 자신과 그 사람을 평가했다, 이네요. across는 가로질러 이지만 세세하게 적용하면 의미가 부자연스러우니 뭉뚱그려서 문맥상으로 해석해주셔도 될듯하네용..
